I absolutely LOVE Oakhurst Pediatrics. I met Dr. Doyle years before she moved her practice to Decatur when my oldest child was a toddler. I was incredibly excited when I learned about Oakhurst and so thankful that she would care for my two newer additions to the family. As an added benefit, we have gotten to know Dr. Kanaan when she covers for Dr. Doyle. Lightning definitely struck twice with those two. The office staff and team of nurses are the absolute best in Decatur. I highly recommend the practice.

We’ve been coming to Oakhurst Pediatrics for 4.5 years. Dr. Kanaan and the Oakhurst team have supported our family through 2 premature births and beyond. Not only do they provide an amazing quality of care, but are incredibly generous with their time and sharing guidance. We moved an hour away a couple years ago and continue to commute in to stay with Dr. Kanaan and the Oakhurst team. Look no further if you are looking for an amazing Pediatrician!

We absolutely love Dr. Kanaan! She’s incredibly attention and always answers our questions thoroughly and with care. The practice in general is very responsive and organized! Highly recommend.

Dr. Doyle is one of the best physicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with—and is just a fabulous pediatrician. She is calm, cool and collected, answers my emails in a couple of hours (sometimes in just 20 minutes), and we are always seen at our appointment time on the nose. Nurse staff is fantastic—we love this practice. Highly recommend.

We recently moved to the area and started bringing our 2 year old and newborn here. Dr. Kanaan has GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER and instantly put my 2 year old at ease. All of my questions have been answered and the practice has been the most PUNCTUAL of any medical practice I have ever interacted with. Update Aug 2023 (7 years later): We just moved out of Georgia so we had to change pediatricians and I just want to say how much I miss Dr. Kanaan and this practice. By the time we left, she was seeing my 9 year old, 7 year old and 2 year old, and again, she was great with all of them. Additionally, something I’m not sure that I appreciated before, is that she is supportive, sincere, and not at all condescending in her interactions with parents. Medicine is complicated, and new research is constantly coming out. Dr. Kanaan is constantly learning and she adjusts her advice based on the best science currently available. If you ask her a question she doesn’t know the answer to, she will research it and get back to you. If her humility and willingness to learn were more common in the medical community (and life in general), the world would be a better place!
